 Module 4 Water conservation   Rain water pond This is rain water pond in an organic farm in nandipura. It is constructed to store rain water and can be used for watering the plants in farm.  We visited on on 7th January   Water conservation includes all the policies, strategies and activities to sustainably manage the natural resource of fresh water, to protect the hydrosphere, and to meet the current and future human demand (thus avoiding water scarcity).  Module 5: Food Walk Traditional foods were prepared by different groups for the food walk. this event was conducted on January 30th . CSE department staff members were very much cooperating with us and made it an memorable event.Everyone prepared different items,every items was very tasty.At last we played Housie Housie game which everyone enjoyed the most active players were our lectures.This event was very enjoyable and successful. we prepared traditional food called peanut poli(shenga holige).it is very famous in north Karnataka peanut poli: recipe:peanut poli INGREDIENTS 1. Peanuts - 1 cup 2. Oil - for frying 3. Til - ¼th cup 4. Milk - 3/4th cup 5. Maida - 3/4th cup 6. Semolina - 1/4th cup 7. Jaggery - 3/4th bowl 8. Water - 3/4th cup 9. Salt - a pinch 10.  Module 3: Organic Farming   Organic Farming was a blissful event in punyakestra nandipur in the presence of Shri Dr. Maheshwara Swamiji. He gave many information about the farming. The way of their farming is very traditional and natural with ayurvedic essentials. The farm was filled with Medicinal plants and other plants were grown by using natural pesticides which are very healthier for human body. The waste management were    very well organized among the farm which produces biodegradable gas. The organic manure was prepared in the farm itself using cow dung.The water is supplied to the plants from water harvesting ponds constructed in farm.   Organic farming is agriculture that makes healthy food, healthy soils, hea lthy plants, and healthy environments a priority, along with crop productivity. Module 2 The Heritage Walk The Heritage walk was held on special week called world heritage week on 25th of November. All CSE department staff was  cooperated and made the event successful  Forestry, Museums and  heritage department joined with us and made it as a memorable one which has been published in newspapers   Virupaksha temple   Virupaksha Temple   is located in  Hampi  in the  Vijayanagara district  of  Karnataka ,  India . It is part of the  Group of Monuments at Hampi , designated as a  UNESCO   World Heritage Site . The temple is dedicated to Sri Virupaksha, a form of  Shiva . The temple was built by Lakkan Dandesha, a nayaka (chieftain) under the ruler  Deva Raya II  also known as  Prauda Deva Raya  of the  Vijayanagara Empire . [1] Hampi, capital of the  Vijayanagara empire , sits on the banks of the  Tungabhadra River (Pampa hole/Pampa river) .            Social Connect and Responsibility Module 1:Plantation Plantation was held on November 19th 2022  for the 1st in PDIT College Hospet Which Organized systematically by our SCR coordinator Mrs. Vasanthamma mam and inaugurated by our beloved principal Dr. S.M Shashidhar sir and respected HOD Mrs.Parvathi Kadli mam with support of all the staff members of CSE Dept. Students were divided into groups of 3 members and each group were assigned to plant a tree in our college campus.This program made our campus more greenery and beautiful.
